Song Ci (chinois : 宋慈 ; pinyin : Sòng Cí) (1186–1249) est un médecin légal expert actif durant la Dynastie Song qui a écrit l'innovant livre intitulé Xi Yuan Ji Lu (Cas collectés d'injustices réparées).
Song Ci sert en tant que juge président dans les hautes cour chinoises. Pendant ses fonctions dans une cour criminelle dans la province du Hunan, il examine personnellement la scène du crime chaque fois qu'il fait face à un cas difficile d'homicide ou d'agression physique. Il combine plusieurs cas historiques de la science médico-légale avec ses propres expériences et écrit le livre Cas collectés d'injustices réparées avec un point de vue écartant les erreurs de justice. Des générations de scientifiques médico-légaux estiment cet ouvrage. Il est finalement traduit en plusieurs langues dont l'Anglais, l'Allemand, le Japonais ou le Français.
