The Magic of Ordinary Days est un téléfilm dramatique américain realisé par Brent Shield.
Synopsis
Lily, fille de révérend et belle citadine instruite et raffinée, quitte Denver pour découvrir le jour de son mariage, Ray Singleton et sa ferme isolée au milieu des champs. Convenances obligent en ces années de guerre de 1944, Lily, enceinte avant le mariage, se résigne à sa nouvelle vie pour laver l'opprobre aux yeux de son père. Elle s'adapte vite tandis que Ray, affable et attentif, ne souhaite que son bonheur. Au contact de la simplicité de la famille de Ray, Lily découvre la tendresse mais, pas l'amour, trop rongée par la culpabilité. Si bien qu'à l'approche de l'accouchement, Lily prévient secrètement le père légitime de l'existence du bébé.
