Billy Ocean est un chanteur de soul trinidadien né le 21 janvier 1950.
Parmi ses titres les plus connus, on peut citer Carribean Queen (BMG, 1984) ou encore When the going gets tough (1986, BO du film "Le Diamant du Nil".) Il participe également à la trame sonore du film License to drive version française (à fond la caisse) parut en 1988 avec la pièce get outta my dreams get into my car. Cette pièce a été produite par Robert John 'Mutt' Lange (Billy Ocean Greatest hits 1989 Zomba Records Limited).
