Ulfcytel (mort en 1016) était un noble anglo-saxon. Il fut apparemment ealdorman d'Est-Anglie de 1004 jusqu'à sa mort à la bataille d'Assandun, même s'il n'est cité comme tel dans aucune charte contemporaine. Les sources scandinaves le désignent comme Ulfkell Snillingr, soit « Ulfkell l'audacieux ».

La dernière apparition d'Ulfcytel dans la chronique anglo-saxonne se déroule lors de la bataille d'Assandun, le 18 octobre 1016, où il se bat pour Edmond II d'Angleterre et où il est tué.
Il est listé parmi les chefs de la nation par la chronique. Selon une source scandinave, il est tué par Thorkell le Grand, qui épouse sa veuve. Thorkell peut avoir épousé l'une des filles veuves de Ethelred II d'Angleterre mais probablement pas Wulfhild, la femme d'Ulfcytel. Une autre source, peu plausible, la saga de Saint Olaf indique qu'Ulfcytel est tué par Éric Håkonsson près de Londres.
