Birobidjan (en russe : Биробиджан ; en yiddish : ביראָבידזשאַן), est une ville et le centre administratif de l'Oblast autonome juif en Russie.
Elle est située sur le Transsibérien, à proximité de la frontière chinoise.
Cette région était vouée à la fusion avec le district voisin de Khabarovsk le 1er mars 2008 après le départ de presque tous ses habitants juifs depuis 1991. Il s'agit du seul exemple contemporain d'un territoire administrativement juif, à l'exception évidente d'Israël.
