Repères historiques

Fondé en 1877 sous le nom de Blackpool Saint John's, le club adopte un statut professionnel en 1887 et rejoint la League de 1896 à 1899 (Division 2) puis à partir de 1900 (Division 2) après avoir fusionné avec South Shore.
