Brice Leverdez est un joueur de badminton francais né le 9 avril 1986 à La Garenne-Colombes licencié à l'Union sportive de Créteil. Il a été champion de France universitaire 2006 et 2007.

Il débute le badminton en 1988. Son premier club est Maurepas. À 21 ans, il remporte les championnats de France de badminton 2008 en battant Erwin Kehlhoffner (premier français au classement international), sur le score de 20/22 22/20 21/11 en sauvant 3 volants de match à 17/20 dans le deuxième set[1].

Il conserve son titre de champion de France en 2009, 2010 et 2011.

En 2005, il a été en outre champion de France junior en double hommes.

Il a gagné deux tournois internationaux : celui d'Équateur et celui du Surinam, tous les deux empochés en 2007.

En 2008, il remporte le Welsh International. Fin 2008, après s'être fait éliminé au premier tour des Supers Series français, il parvient en demi-finales de l'Open de Russie, un international challenge (3e niveau) Deux semaines plus tard, il parvient à remporter son premier tournoi "international serie" (2e niveau) en battant en finale l’espoir écossais Kieran Merrilees, 21/15 18/21 21/19. Pour remporter ce tournoi, Leverdez a auparavant battu les joueurs suivants :

  • 1er tour : Helgi Johanesson (Islande), 20/22 21/10 21/13
  • 2e tour : Gordon Thomas (Écosse, n° 225), 21/10 21/14
  • ¼ de finale : Marcel Reuter (Allemagne, n° 127), 8/21 24/22 21/14
  • ½ finale : Rune Massing (Pays-Bas, n° 112), 21/9 21/18

Leverdez réalise un très bon mois de juillet 2010 en atteignant les finales de l'Open du Canada et de l'US Open.
Participant aux Championnats du monde 2010 à Paris, il échoue le mardi 24 août 2010 dès le premier tour contre le Néerlandais Dicky Palyama (n° 22 mondial) en deux sets et 39 minutes de jeu (21/16, 21/15)[2].
