Bruce Johnston
Bruce Arthur Johnston né à Peoria dans l'Illinois avec le nom de Benjamin Baldwin le 27 juin 1942 (67 ans) est un musicien américain, membre du groupe The Beach Boys.
Biographie
Adopté par William et Irene Johnston à Chicago, il grandit dans la zone ouest de Los Angeles.
Johnston n'est pas un des membres fondateurs du groupe légendaire, qu'il n'a intégré que le 9 avril 1965 après que Glen Campbell ait décidé de réaliser une carrière solo. Le premier morceau enregistré avec Johnston fut California Girls. Il quitta le groupe en février 1972, avant de le retrouver en 1979.
En 1975, il remporte un Grammy Award pour sa chanson I Write The Songs.
