Notes

  • A cause de la pluie, la course a été interrompue au 27e tour avant d'être définitivement stoppée au 180e des 200 tours prévus.
  • Robby Gordon prévoyait d'effectuer le double duty, c'est-à-dire d'enchainer les 500 miles d'Indianapolis et le Coca Cola 600 de NASCAR à Charlotte dans la soirée. En raison de la pluie et du retard pris par l'épreuve, il a quitté Indianapolis pour Charlotte lors de l'interruption survenue au 27e et a cédé son volant à Jaques Lazier.
