Histoire

Henry Roth (Adam Sandler), un vétérinaire marin à Hawaii, rencontre Lucy Whitmore (Drew Barrymore) dans un café en prenant son petit déjeuner. Habitué à changer de partenaires et ne pas s'attacher, Henry ne peut sortir Lucy de son esprit et en tombe amoureux.

Il l'approche et retourne avec impatience au café le lendemain. Cependant Lucy ne semble pas se souvenir de l'avoir jamais rencontré...
