Catherine Langford
Catherine Langford est la fille du professeur Langford, l'archéologue qui a découvert la porte des étoiles dans le film Stargate, la porte des étoiles et dans la série Stargate SG-1.
Son fiancé, Ernest Littlefield, fut la victime malheureuse d'une expérimentation en 1945 en étant le premier homme à passer la porte, et disparut pendant plus de 50 ans. Pendant toutes ces années, elle insista auprès de l'armée pour que l'on réactive le programme Stargate abandonné après la disparition d'Ernest (dont elle ignora les vraies raisons de sa disparition, son père lui ayant annoncé sa mort lors d'un incident technique), chose qu'elle réussira en 1996. Il sera retrouvé par SG-1 en 1997.
Elle mourut en 2005 et légua la plupart de ses collections d'objets égyptiens à Daniel Jackson.
