Catherine Margaret Ashton, baronne Ashton of Upholland, (né le 20 mars 1956) est une personnalité politique britannique, membre de la Commission européenne depuis octobre 2008. Elle est membre de la Chambre des Lords, pour le Parti travailliste. Elle a été présidente (leader) de la Chambre des Lords et ancienne Lord President du Conseil.
Elle a été nommée pair à vie en tant que baronne Ashton of Upholland en 1999. Elle a été secrétaire d'État au ministère de l'Education.
Le 6 octobre 2008, elle remplace Peter Mandelson comme commissaire européen au commerce.
