Chahar bagh

Chahar bagh (en persan : چهارباغ) est un style de jardin persan. Chāhār veut dire 'quatre' et bāgh 'jardin'. Ce style de jardin, enclos de murs, est souvent associer au paradis décrit dans le Coran - ayant quatre rivières et quatre quadrants, représentant le monde[1]. La conception intègre parfois un axe plus long que les autres, des canaux d'eau courante répartis dans les quatre parties du jardin se connectant dans un bassin central.
