L'enfance de Phillip IV

  • Phillip Chancellor IV est le fils de l'héritier de la fortune Chancellor, Phillip Chancellor III et de Nina Webster. Après la mort de Phillip III, Nina se marie avec Ryan McNeil ; Phillip IV le considère comme son père et sera très affecté quand Ryan quittera Nina pour Tricia Dennison ; il gardera quand même contact avec Ryan. Ryan quittera Tricia pour se marier avec Victoria Newman mais sera assassiné par Tricia le jour de son mariage. Phillip IV et Nina quitteront alors la ville pour Los Angeles.
  • En novembre 2008, alors que Nina revient pour quelque temps à Genoa City, on apprend que Phillip IV est soldat sur le front de la Guerre d'Irak.

Le retour de "Chance"

  • En juillet 2009, Phillip, qui adopte comme surnom «Chance», revient à Genoa peu de temps après sa mère Nina. À son arrivée, il apprend que son père, Phillip III n'est pas mort et qu'il s'est créé une fausse identité pour pouvoir vivre son homosexualité ; au début Chance en voudra à son père mais avec le temps, il lui pardonne.
  • Chance entame une relation avec Chloe Mitchell fraîchement séparée de William Abbott. Il se fait engager comme inspecteur de police à Genoa.
