Chrishan de son vrai nom Christopher Chrishan Dotson, est né le 21 octobre 1989 à Toledo, en Ohio. À seulement 18 ans, il débarque dans le monde de la musique, il est encensé dans tous les magazines musicaux US. Son style s'inspire des artiste comme Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Babyface ...

Chrishan enregistre actuellement son premier album studio et participe à de nombreux projets à venir à la fois comme producteur et auteur-compositeur. Son album auto-produit Do My Thang, avec le rappeur Young Bishop à vendu plus de 10.000 copies sur iTunes en janvier 2008.

Il forme également avec J Watts, Royale Star et KCity le groupe Soundsick. En 2010, ils sortent une mixtape nommée "The Breakthru". Il prépare actuellement un nouvel album "Life, Love & Lessons Learned" dont la sortie est prévue en 2011.

Depuis le 21 décembre 2010, la version "Platinum" de l'album Night & Day est disponible en téléchargement légal sur iTunes, elle contient 11 nouvelles musiques dont plusieurs inédites.

Le 3 mai 2011 est la date choisie par l'artiste pour sortir un nouvel album intitulé "Heart Of A Lion", classé n°3 au Japon dès le lendemain. Le 9 août 2011, il sort la très attendue mixtape "Man Of The Year 2", suite du premier opus.
