A Passion Play est un album de Jethro Tull sorti en 1973.

Il s'agit d'un des albums les plus controversés du groupe, adoré par certains, détesté par d'autres ; la plupart des critiques le descendent en flammes à sa sortie, mais il se classe tout de même en tête du Billboard 200. Suite à l'album précédent Thick as a Brick, qui se voulait une satire des albums-concepts, A Passion Play a été conçu délibérément comme tel. Comme son prédécesseur, il se compose d'un unique titre occupant tout l'album ; la liste des parties le composant est précisée dans les éditions ultérieures.

L'intégralité de l'album est écrite est composée par Ian Anderson, hormis The Story of the Hare Who Lost His Spectacles, créditée à Anderson, John Evan et Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond.
