Codona

Codona est un ensemble formé à la fin des années 1970, par Collin Walcott (sitar, tablâ, hammered dulcimer, sanza), Don Cherry (trompette, flûte, mélodica, n'goni, percussions), et Naná Vasconcelos (berimbau, percussions). Inspirée tout autant du jazz que de l'Inde, du Japon, de l'Afrique ou du Brésil, leur world music profite du grand talent de musiciens reconnus. Leurs prénoms Co(lin), do(n), na(na), donnent Codona.
