Le Corian est une marque de matériau mis au point par DuPont en 1967. Constitué pour 2/3 de charges minérales et 1/3 de résine acrylique, ce matériaux composite est utilisé essentiellement dans la fabrication de plans de travail de cuisine.
Ce matériau fait partie de la catégorie dite « solid surface ».
