Le crédit-export est l'application de l'assurance-crédit aux projets d'exportation. Il est parfois soutenu par les compagnies d'assurances nationales comme la Coface en France, Euler en Allemagne, l'ECGD au Royaume-Uni ou l'ExIm Bank aux États-Unis.
