D-Natural est un rappeur-humoriste québécois, dont le vrai nom est Benoît Boudreault.

Son style de rap et sa personnalité laissent perplexes. Plusieurs ne savent pas s'il doit être pris au sérieux ou s'il ne s'agit que de parodie. D-Natural, du moins aujourd'hui, donne davantage dans l'auto-dérision, de son propre aveu, bien que son récent retour et sa tentative de créer un groupe politique brouille à nouveau les cartes.

Découvert sur le tard et par un concours de circonstances, sept ans après la parution de son premier vidéo-clip et d'un album uniquement paru en cassette audio, D-Natural a aussi soulevé des protestations dans le milieu hip hop québécois, certains s'insurgeant de le voir connaître du succès, et s'inquiétant du fait que les médias considèrent sa musique comme étant représentative du genre.

Faits marquants

Son leitmotiv, « Québec est ma ville, D-Natural est mon nom », est entré dans la culture populaire. Parmi ses autres œuvres figurent: « Quelle sorte de plotte c'est ça », « D-Natural is back », « Heille boss », « Ils veulent se faire du cash », « Fuck les médias » et « Jos Connaissant ». Sa passion pour les femmes aux grandes jambes, abdos et fesses fermes est gravée dans la mémoire de bien des fans féminins!

La chaîne de télévision "Musiqueplus" a créé une émission spéciale en l'honneur de D-natural: Une journée dans la peau de D-natural.
