DJ Babu (de son vrai nom Chris Oroc), Phillipino-Américain né le 17 septembre 1974, est le DJ du groupe de rap californien Dilated Peoples et un membre du collectif de DJs Beat Junkies. Il est le premier DJ à avoir utilisé le terme Turntablism pour désigner l'art de manier les platines ou de s'en servir comme d'un instrument à part entière. Il remporta plusieurs titres, dont le Vestax World Championship.
