David Cain est un personnage du comics Batman. C'est un escroc et un assassin, il est le père de Batgirl/Cassandra Cain. Il a élevé sa fille dans le but d'en faire une voleuse "indétectable".Cassandra se retournera plus tard contre son père en devenant Batgirl. Il semble aussi avoir été un des instructeurs de Batman durant l'apprentissage martial de ce dernier.
