Delfino Borroni, né le 23 août 1898 à Turago Bordone et mort le 26 octobre 2008[1] à Castano Primo, était le dernier vétéran italien de la Première Guerre mondiale suite à la mort de Francesco Domenico Chiarello le 27 juin 2008.

Borroni rejoignit les forces armées italiennes en 1917, intégra le corps des Bersagliers, réservé à l'élite de l'infanterie, et combattit contre les forces austro-hongroises dans le Tyrol. A Caporetto (actuelle Kobarid), il fut légèrement blessé, et capturé par les Autrichiens. Il dut creuser des tranchées pour les Autrichiens, mais s'évada peu avant la fin de la guerre.

Civil et conducteur de tramway pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il fut grièvement blessé lors d'un raid aérien.

Avant sa mort, il habitait à Castano Primo dans une maison de retraite.
