Le ministère du développement international ((en) Department for International Development ou DfID) est un des départments exécutifs du Royaume-Uni responsable de l'aide humanitaire et du développement au niveau international.

Son objectif affiché est de travailler pour favoriser le développement durable et éliminer la pauvreté dans le monde.

Crée en 1997 à partir de services du Foreign and Commonwealth Office, il agit dans des domaines tels que l'enseignement, la lutte contre la corruption et l'environnement.

Depuis le 28 juin 2007, Douglas Alexander est le secrétaire d'État au Développement international responsable de cette administration.
