Le Design Radical est un mouvement de design influent.
Le Design Radical émergea à la fin des années soixante en Italie en réaction au Good Design. Présentant des similitudes avec l’Antidesign, le Design Radical est cependant plus théorique, politisé et expérimental. Il tenta de changer la perception du courant moderniste à travers des projets utopistes. On voit alors émerger des groupes de design comme Superstudio, Archizoom, UFO, Gruppo Sturm. Ces groupes se sont attaqués à la définition de ce qu’est le bon goût. Le Design Radical, par ses réflexions établi les fondations du Post-modernisme.
