Structure de DEAE cellulose
Le diéthylaminoéthyl cellulose (ou DEAE cellulose) est une résine chargée positivement utilisée en chromatographie échangeuse d'ions (voir Chromatographie en phase liquide) permettant la séparation spécifique de certaines molécules. Les différentes protéines, emprisonnées par la colonne, sont relachées spécifiquement dans certains tubes au fur et à mesure que l'on augmente la concentration saline. Un test d'activité spécifique de la protéine permet de sélectionner les fractions les plus riches en protéines, ce qui permet la purification de celle-ci.
