Sommaire

Histoire

le tournoi a été créé en 2001. Il prenait la place de la Alfred Dunhill Cup, compétition diputéee par équipé de trois golfeurs. Or cette compétition, devant l'importance grandissance de la Coupe du monde de golf, était devenue une compétition peu prisée.

Afin d'améliorer la notoriété et l'intérêt de l'évévement, le tournoi se double d'un tournoi Pro-Am où des personnalités sont invitées: parmi celle-ci figurent Nigel Mansell, Ian Botham, Gary Lineker, Boris Becker, Michael Douglas, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Vaughan ou Hugh Grant.
