Eadric de Kent
Eadric, roi de Kent, de 685 à sa mort en août (?) 686. Fils d'Egbert Ier, il règne conjointement avec son oncle Hlothhere à la mort de son père en 673. En 676, le roi Æthelred de Mercie envahit le Kent. Écarté de la succession par son oncle, il prend le pouvoir avec l'aide du Sussex le 6 février 685. Rapidement, il doit faire face à l'invasion de Cædwalla de Wessex. Il règne encore en juin 686[1]. Des annales franques enregistrent sa mort le 31 août 687.
