Aerial est le 8e album de Kate Bush, sorti en 2005.

Il se compose de deux parties sur deux disques. La première partie correspond à un album informel, rassemblant des titres d'inspiration variée : King of the Mountain se réfère à Elvis Presley et au film Citizen Kane, π décrit l'obsession d'un homme pour le nombre Pi, Bertie est dédié à son fils, Joanni évoque Jeanne d'Arc... La seconde est consacrée à la progression du jour et aux changements de luminosité.

Cette organisation rappelle son album Hounds of Love de 1985, lui aussi en deux parties. L'ensemble est dominé par le piano de Kate Bush. L'orchestration est arrangée par Michael Kamen. Parmi les musiciens invités sur cet album, on trouve le batteur de jazz Peter Erskine, Gary Brooker (l'organiste de Procol Harum), Lol Creme, Steve Sanger, Rolf Harris, Eberhard Weber...
