Edward Frederic Benson (24 juillet 1867 - 29 février 1940) est un romancier, biographe, mémorialiste et auteur de nouvelles britannique, plus souvent désigné comme E. F. Benson.

Edward Frederic Benson est le fils de Edward White Benson (1829-1896), archevêque de Cantorbéry, et de sa femme, Mary Sidgwick, sœur du philosophe Henry Sidgwick.
