FremantleMedia est un groupe international de production de contenu télévisuel, avec environ 9000 heures de programme dans 39 pays par an. Il est une filiale de RTL Group, l'une des plus grandes compagnies européennes de production d'émissions télévisées et de radio. En 2004, FremantleMedia s'associe à KM pour créer FremantleKM.

La compagnie a fait l'acquisition de diverses sociétés de production anglaises et australiennes telles que Grundy Television, Crackerjack Productions (qui est aujourd'hui la filiale australienne de Fremantle), Thames Television et Talkback Productions.

En France, le groupe produit notamment Questions pour un champion, Oui chef !, Super Nanny, C'est du propre !, La France en héritage, Le Juste Prix, Une famille en or . Il fut également celui du Bigdil et d'On vous dit pourquoi. Fremantle Media France est dirigée par Monica Galer.

L'entreprise est aussi à l'initiative de programmes comme Pop Idol (Nouvelle Star en France), America’s Got Talent (La France a un incroyable talent en France) ou The X Factor (X Factor en France).
