Fumio Niwa (丹羽文雄 en japonais, né le 22 novembre 1904 à Yokkaichi au Japon et décédé le 20 avril 2005 à Musashino au Japon d'une pneumonie), était un écrivain japonais. Il a étudié la littérature japonaise à l'université de Waseda. Il a été correspondant de guerre durant la seconde guerre mondiale. En 1965, il devient membre de L'Académie japonaise des Arts et en 1966, il est élu président de l'Association des écrivains japonais et reçoit l'Ordre de la Culture.
