La compagnie fut fondée en 1888 par Joseph Giovanola, elle était basée à Monthey, en Suisse.
L'entreprise spécialisée dans le métal a travaillé à plusieurs reprises avec Bolliger & Mabillard et Intamin AG avant de créer ses propres montagnes russes.
