Le Golden Horseshoe ou fer à cheval doré est une région fortement urbanisée du centre-sud de l'Ontario qui correspond à la grande région métropolitaine de Oshawa, Whitby, Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, St. Catherines et Niagara Falls. Elle prend son nom du fait qu'elle s'étend autour du bout ouest du lac Ontario, prenant ainsi la forme d'un fer à cheval.
Il s'agit de la plus importante région métropolitaine du Canada; environ 8,1 millions de personnes habitent la mégalopole, soit le quart de la population canadienne.
