Gynophore

Formé par la concrescence des sépales, pétales et étamines, c'est un réceptacle floral qui change de forme pour qu'un grand nombre de carpelles puissent se poser dessus.

Le fruit des Rosidae depend de la structure du gynophore et de son aspect , saillant ou sec
