Hazel Dorothy Scott (11 juin 1920 à Port-d'Espagne, Trinité-et-Tobago – 2 octobre 1981 à New York) était une pianiste et chanteuse de jazz américaine.
Elle a été formée à la Juilliard School, et a joué au Carnegie Hall dès 22 ans. Elle est connue pour ses improvisations sur des thèmes de musique classique.
Elle a été la première femme américaine à avoir son propre show télévisé, le Hazel Scott Show, à partir du 3 juillet 1950. Comme elle s'était opposée publiquement au maccarthisme et à la ségrégation raciale, son show a été déprogrammé, la dernière a eu lieu le 29 septembre 1950.
Elle a été mariée à Adam Clayton Powell Jr. de 1945 à 1956, duquel elle a eu un enfant.
