Katsura Hoshino (星野桂, Hoshino Katsura?) est une mangaka née en le 21 avril 1980 dans la préfecture de Shiga au Japon.

Elle débute sa carrière en 2003 avec Continue[1], un one shot paru dans le Weekly Shōnen Jump. Elle travaille ensuite sur Zone [2], un autre one shot, pour le magazine Akamaru Jump qui peut être considéré comme le pilote de son futur manga D.Gray-man, puisqu'on y retrouve certains personnages et les bases de l'histoire. D.Gray-man est en cours de parution dans le Weekly Shonen Jump depuis le no 27 de l'année 2004[3].
