Algis Budrys, né le 9 janvier 1931 à Königsberg, mort le 9 juin 2008 à Evanston (Illinois)^[1], est un écrivain de science-fiction américain.

Sa famille émigre de Lituanie aux États-Unis en 1936.

Après ses études universitaires, il se consacre entièrement à l'écriture de nouvelles et romans de science-fiction.
