Province de Jaén
Jaén est une province du sud de l'Espagne, dans la partie à l'est de la communauté autonome d'Andalousie. Elle est bordée par les provinces de Cordoue, Ciudad Real, Albacete, et Grenade. Sa capitale est Jaén.
Sa superficie est de 13 484 km². sa population est 647 387 (2002), dont un sixième vit dans la capitale pour une densité de 48,01/km². Il y a 97 municipalités. Voir Liste des municipalités de Jaén.
Bien que ce soit une des provinces d'Espagne les moins fréquentées par les touristes il y a plusieurs lieux d'intérêt dont quatre parcs nationaux et deux villes renaissance, Úbeda et Baeza.
Le concours annuel d'échecs de Linares attire plusieurs des meilleurs joueurs mondiaux.
Jaén est le plus grand producteur mondial d'huile d'olive.
