Johnnie Cochran Jr

Johnnie Cochran Jr. (2 octobre 1937 à Shreveport aux États-Unis - 29 mars 2005 à Los Angeles d'une tumeur au cerveau), était un célèbre avocat américain.

Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. était connu pour son rôle dans la défense d'O. J. Simpson et Michael Jackson.

Il était également l'avocat du rappeur Tupac Shakur et Snoop Dogg.

Il a également représenté Reginald Oliver Denny, le camionneur blanc battu par une foule pendant les émeutes de Los Angeles en 1992 et intervenait régulièrement pour les victimes de violences policières.

Il est parodié par la série télévisée South Park dans l'épisode nommé Chef Aid en 1998 où il est dépeint comme un avocat utilisant une défense douteuse mais extrêmement convaincante (la défense Chewbacca).

Il fait également une apparition au cinéma en 2001, de son propre rôle, dans le film Showtime.
