Josh Weinstein (né le 5 mai 1966 dans le Maryland[1]) est un scénariste américain pour la télévision, surtout connu pour son travail sur Les Simpson. Il a étudié à la St. Albans School et à l'Université Stanford où il a participé au Stanford Chaparral.
Avec son partenaire Bill Oakley, Josh Weinstein a été le producteur exécutif et le showrunner au cours de la septième et de la huitième saison de cette série télévisée. Ensemble, ils ont écrit des épisodes tels que Lisa s'en va-t-en guerre, Qui a tiré sur M. Burns ?, Le maire est amer et le 100e épisode de la série, Un ennemi très cher. Pour son travail, il a remporté trois Emmy Awards et un Peabody Award. Après avoir quitté les Simpson, Oakley et Weinstein ont créé Mission Hill, The Mullets, et ont été consultants pour Futurama.
Avec Oakley, Weinstein est producteur exécutif de la série télévisée Sit Down, Shut Up, qui a débuté au printemps 2009[2].
