Joy Esther est une actrice et chanteuse française, née le 14 juin 1984 à Lyon.

Enfance et formation

Enfant, elle prend des cours de chant et de théâtre en plus d'heures de judo et de sa scolarité.

Pendant trois ans, elle suit les Cours Florent.

Elle épouse en 2009 Damien Sargue à Las Vegas . Ils se sépareront courant 2010 après presque 4 ans d'une belle histoire.

Carrière

Elle débute sa carrière avec des petits rôles dans le téléfilm TF1 Mission protection rapprochée, la série TV Une femme d'honneur et dans le film Gamer aux côtés de Saïd Taghmaoui et Bruno Salomone, mais aussi travaille pour la publicité avec Jean-Baptiste Mondino et Jean-Paul Goude dans les spots Kodak, Les voleurs de couleur. Mais c'est son rôle dans la comédie musicale « Belles belles belles », en 2003, qui lui offre une certaine notoriété et la révèle au grand public. Cette notoriété ne sera qu'éphémère, conséquence du faible succès de ce spectacle.

Début 2007, Joy reprend le rôle de Juliette, précédemment interprété par Cécilia Cara, dans la comédie musicale de Gerard Presgurvic, Roméo & Juliette, de la haine à l'amour, uniquement pour les versions coréenne et taïwanaise, le spectacle n'étant plus joué en France depuis 2002. La même année, elle co-anime l'émission NRJ Studio Live et joue dans le film Secret Défense.

L'année suivant, en 2008, elle obtient un rôle dans la nouvelle série de M6 Pas de secret entre nous'. Durant l'automne-hiver 2008, elle tourne dans le film de Serge Meynard, paradis criminel, un thriller pour France 3 qui sera diffusé au printemps 2010, puis fait une apparition en tant que guest (invitée spéciale) principal d'un épisode de la série Mlle Joubert diffusée sur TF1.

A partir du 2 février 2010 et jusqu'au 4 avril 2010, elle sera de retour sur scène, toujours avec la troupe de Roméo & Juliette, les enfants de Vérone au Palais des congrès de Paris où elle tient le rôle de Juliette au côté de Damien Sargue.

Elle tient le rôle de Noémie dans la série Chante !, saison 4 qui est diffusé depuis le 28 juillet aux côté de Priscilla, qui tient le rôle de Tina.

Au prochain automne, elle commencera à enregistrer son 1er album solo.
