Khanqah

Khanqah (cf. persan khaneh : maison, en arabe : زاوية [zāwīya]), fut d'abord un lieu destiné à abriter les spécialistes et savants religieux (‘ulamâ’), l'équivalent des couvents pour les chrétiens. Ces établissements ont été ensuite réservés aux soufis.
