L'Université américaine du Caire ou American University in Cairo (AUC) est une université située au Caire, Égypte. Fondée par des missionnaires des États-Unis en 1919, elle dispense un enseignement uniquement en anglais.
Le prix d'inscription à l'Université pour un étudiant de première année est de 13 000 $ alors que le revenu moyen par habitant égyptien est de 1 390 $. 90 % des étudiants sont de nationalité égyptienne.
Les bureaux administratifs de l'Université ainsi que son conseil d'administration sont situés à New York.
C'est dans cette université que Condoleezza Rice a tenu le 21 juin 2005, un discours concernant les liens entre la démocratie et la paix au Moyen-Orient.
