La mouvance « anti-antifa » est apparue en Europe dans les années 1980, rassemblant des groupes d'extrême-droite décidés à s'opposer aux associations « antifascistes ». Le mouvement « anti-antifa » est connu pour ses listes noires (fichage des antifascistes) comme Redwatch en Angleterre, voire ses actions violentes[1].
L'organisation européenne anti-raciste United for Intercultural Action a édité une brochure mettant en garde les associations anti-racistes contre les groupuscules « anti-antifa » suite à l'envoi de lettres piégées par des néo-nazis en Autriche[2].
D'après RésistanceS, il existe en Belgique un site web « anti-antifa » dont le propriétaire est Hervé Van Laethem, président de l'asbl mouvement Nation[1].
