Mel Alexander Melvin Pearson (né le 29 avril 1938 à Flin Flon dans le Manitoba - mort le 9 janvier 1999) est un joueur professionnel de hockey sur glace.

Carrière en club

Il a commencé à jouer au hockey dans la ligue junior de la Saskatchewan en 1956-57 pour les Bombers de Flin Flon. Après des saisons dans différentes franchises et ligues (Ligue américaine de hockey, Western Hockey League, ...) il joue pour la première fois dans la Ligue nationale de hockey en 1959-60 pour les Rangers de New York.

Malheureusement pour lui, ce joueur de centre n'arrivera pas à se faire une place dans la LNH et il continuera à alterner les matchs dans de nombreuses ligues.

En 1967, il est choisi par les Penguins de Pittsburgh pour faire partie de leur première équipe mais ne joue que deux matchs avant de finir sa carrière dans l'Association mondiale de hockey en 1973.
