Le Royal Standard est le drapeau officiel de la reine Élisabeth II en tant que souveraine du Royaume-Uni et d’autres domaines du Commonwealth, dont certains possèdent leur propre variante du drapeau.
Dans le protocole britannique relatif aux drapeaux, le Royal Standard dispose de la suprématie. Il doit être uniquement arboré au sommet des bâtiments où la reine est présente. Il flotte au-dessus de l’Union Jack, des Standards des autres membres de la famille royale et ne peut être mis en berne.
