The Invincibles (cricket)

The Invincibles (« les Invincibles ») est le surnom des joueurs de l'équipe d'Australie de cricket qui participèrent à la tournée australienne en Angleterre en 1948.

Emmenée par leur capitaine Donald Bradman, cette équipe fut la première à effectuer une tournée sans connaître la moindre défaite. Les Australiens jouèrent cinq tests lors des Ashes, 31 matchs de first-class cricket et trois autres matchs. Ils remportèrent 25 de ces matchs et enlevèrent notamment les Ashes contre l'équipe d'Angleterre par 4 victoires à 0.
