Shchedryk

Shchedryk (Щедрик en ukrainien, Sonnent les cloches en français, Carol of the Bells en anglais[1]) est un chant composé en 1916 par le compositeur ukrainien Mykola Dmytrovych Leontovych[1].

L'origine du chant se trouve dans un chant traditionnel ukrainien.

Le chant est chanté originellement a cappella, et est couramment assimilé à un chant de Noël.
